This 18 hole championship golf course, home to PGA tour events beginning in 2009, is a links style course, master planned by Melillo ▪ Bauer ▪ Carman. The golf course was designed by Kite Cupp Golf Design, with planting design by Melillo ▪ Bauer ▪ Carman. The Clubhouse designed by Lindsay Newman Architecture offers breathtaking views of the Statue of Liberty, New York Bay and the Manhattan Skyline. The Liberty National Clubhouse also features the Grand Stair, designed by Melillo Bauer Carman, which cascades down from the Clubhouse entry plaza to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, incorporating a dynamic water feature as well as offering public seating encompassing a wide view of New York Bay from Manhattan Bay to the Verrazano Narrows. Sculptural walls frame the Grand Stair and provide seating opportunities at the intermediate terraces adjacent to the water features. The open-air dining terrace on the south side of the Clubhouse offers views of the 18th Green and the links course beyond.
